Bike Share

The City of San Mateo is working with Lime on a one year pilot program to test dock-less bike share in and around the City. The bikes will be accessible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Lime bikes is a network of bright green bikes and ebikes, located throughout San Mateo, that members can use on an hourly basis. Download the Lime smartphone app to identify the nearest available bike.  When you’re done, leave your bike at your destination. Lime bikes will be available at all three Caltrain stations within San Mateo and other key destinations.

Bike sharing is great if you carpool and need to take a short midday trip. And if transit doesn’t get you to your final destination, bike sharing can help you travel that “last mile” in a convenient and cost-effective way. Please be responsible users and do not allow bikes to block driveways, entryways, sidewalks, crosswalks, bus stops, wheelchair accessible areas, or be left lying on the ground.
